Hannah Prince became the new owner of X-Calibur Field Hockey Club in January 2025. With an extensive background in both playing and coaching at the international and collegiate levels, Prince brings valuable expertise and leadership skills to the club.
Since taking over as head coach of the Saint Joseph’s University field hockey program in 2022, Prince has led the Hawks to three consecutive Atlantic 10 titles and three NCAA Tournament appearances, including a remarkable run to the National Championship game in the fall of 2024. She also serves as an assistant coach for the USA U16 National Team and traveled to the Netherlands with the team in March 2024.
In addition, Prince served as the program director and head coach for Indoor at IFHCK in Louisville, KY, and was a head coach for Princeton Field Hockey Club. Her collegiate coaching experience includes stints as Associate Head Coach at the University of Louisville, Assistant Coach at Princeton University, and Assistant Coach at both Saint Joseph’s and the University of New Hampshire.
A 2014 graduate of UMass, Prince was a four-year starter, three-time Atlantic 10 champion, and NCAA quarterfinalist. She played for the U.S. Women’s Outdoor National Team from 2015-2016 and captained the U.S. Indoor National Team for six years, winning a gold medal at the 2017 Pan American Cup and competing in the 2018 Indoor World Cup. Prince holds a USA Field Hockey Level 3 Coaching Certification and is a graduate of the NCAA Women’s Coaches Academy (2018).
Note: Coach Hannah will only be allowed to coach athletes who have began 9th grade if they are within 50 miles of St Joe’s University due to NCAA rules.
